OctopusTools 2.1.2.37 NuGet package bug

Dear team,

It looks like the NuGet package has a OctopusTools.2.1.2.37.nupkg file packed in itself?! So after I do install, not only I have Octo.exe with its config file, but also a nupkg file, is this by design? Otherwise it would make the download package much bigger than it should be.

Best regards,

Dong

Hi Dong,

Thanks for getting in touch. When you install a NuGet package, NuGet by default extracts the files but also keeps the .nupkg file on disk, so it may appear that the package also contains another NuPkg file. I’ve attached a screenshot of what the package actually looks like, and as you can see it just contains octo.exe and a configuration file. Hope that helps!

Paul
