Octopus Migration License Issue

Hi,

I’m working on a project trying to move a licensed Octopus Server for a client to a new server. The setup is complex and I want to make sure all moving parts are working before tearing down the old infrastructure. I’ve copied the old database and installed a new instance with the same license. I now need to test but getting a license issue.

License limits exceeded
Unfortunately your license limits have been exceeded, and you will no longer be able to create or deploy releases. Your Octopus Deploy license only allows 1 active node. You currently have 2 active nodes. Get more information or upgrade your license at octopusdeploy.com.

I tried entering a trial license and get:

There was a problem with your request.
The license could not be updated because the server is not compliant, so using the license would disable functionality.
Unfortunately your license limits have been exceeded, and you will no longer be able to create or deploy releases. Your Octopus Deploy license only allows 1 active node. You currently have 2 active nodes.

Could you assist me in resolving this? It’s fairly urgent.

Solved by deleting the dup OctopusServerNode entry.
