No rights to deploy a release

I am member of the group Octopus Administrators and if I check on the page /configuration/permissions/test I have the rights to deploy to all environments.

When i click on “Deploy this release…” I get a yellow Message popping up: “You do not have permission to deploy this release to any environments.”.

I am pretty shure that this is just a wrong error message and that I have some different problem, because I just set up the octopus server. Is there any way I can debug this further?

Damn, I have the exact same issue

It looks like the project was belonging to a custom group and not default. Switching it back to the default group did the trick for me
