License issue during moving server


I am trying to move our octopus deploy server to different location but it failed with message:

Error: - FAIL: Your Octopus Server would not be compliant with your license if we allowed the upgrade to continue. Here is the summary of the license check: You are not licensed to run Octopus Server 2019.7.2 which is considered to be part of the 2019.7 feature release. It was released on Monday, 08 July 2019. Your maintenance period ended on Wednesday, 31 January 2018 (523 days before this version of Octopus Server was released). You will be prevented from performing certain key actions, like creating and deploying releases. Please visit to renew your license.

We have valid license with maintenance period

And I have not idea why I cannot move it. I tried to do trial license too and maybe possibly update license later, but got the same exception.

Please help, it is very urgent for us. Thanks.

Sorry to hear that you’re having issues with your upgrade, that’s definitely not what we like to see!

It’s awesome news that you have a license with maintenance, what might have happened here though is that it might not have been imported into the server itself when you renewed it last. If you would like to check this, simply log in to the Octopus web UI, then navigate to Configuration -> License and make sure that matches your most recent one (which it looks like you have on hand).

Please let me know how you go with this, or if we need to look for alternate solutions!

Looks like it was issue with database backup, for some reason latest changes including license was not included into sql server backup. After doing complete new backup I was able to move server, thanks for you help and sorry for false alarm.
