I have tried to install the octopus teamcity plugin on our teamcity server. However , after following the instruction , the zip file doesn’t unpack on server restart as stated in the install steps. Do I have to unpack it manually ?
or should it be in a different folder. At the moment I dropped the zip file in .buildserver/plugins on the server end .

Putting it in that folder should be enough. Can you check the TeamCity logs? They should indicate whether the package is being extracted or any problems with it.
Which version of TeamCity are you using?

I can’t seem to spot any errors when I look at the server logs. I see that server got shut down and restarted and initialised all the other plugins except the octopus.teamcity plugin.
We currently use teamcity 7.0.1
