DropDown Behavior - Moving

For quite a while now, (numerous recent versions, at least the last year) there is very odd behavior around clicking any drop-down control on any page.

  1. Click any drop-down control in the OD UI (even happens on “project switcher”)
  2. Contents of drop-down appear in the top-left of the page
  3. About 1/2 second later (after mouse move) the drop-down contents are in their correct location

This is super annoying.

Making a note of it, b/c I mentioned this in the Slack channel, and I’m not alone.

Thanks for getting in touch! We are in the slow process of updating our MUI components. From what we can see this issue is the cause, making popover the next cab off the rank for us to fix.
