Deployment process not triggered when release is created

I had setup octopus deploy auto release creation for a number of projects in the past. Each time a release was created the named process i.e deploy xyz package would be triggered if setup.

I have recently performed a fresh installation of 3.4.12, and setup automated release creation upon package uploads, releases are created but selected process is not automatically started and i have to go and click deploy manually

Thanks for getting in touch. The issue could be related to the automatic deployment configuration of the Lifecycle phase. On the Lifecycles page the environment will have the lightning bolt icon if it has been configured for automatic deployment.
