Thanks for getting in touch! I’m sorry to hear that you are seeing problems changing settings for your Octopus Server. I’m interested to know which version of Octopus Server you’re using here.
By default the Octopus.Server.exe lives in C:\Program Files\Octopus Deploy\Octopus
Depending on your Octopus Server Version, you can actually make many of these server settings from the Octopus Portal by navigating to Configuration > Settings > Active Directory
It appears that our documentation is currently slightly out of date here too, I’ll update these documents which should take affect in the next few days.
