Hi,
we are having a strange issue. When we create an Azure subscription in /app#/accounts/ (there is one already created) it doesn’t appear on the list of accounts, and cannot be selected on the Deploy Azure Web App template. But if we try to create it again with the same name, it will complain that the account already exists. The person creating and trying to use the account is setup as Octopus Administrator.
Any idea?
Regards,
Jorge
Hi Jorge,
Thanks for getting in touch! Unfortunately this is a permissions scoping bug. We found that even for administrators if you have any teams linked to your account that scope environment permissions it is carried through to the accounts page. This is a bug which you can track on the following link: https://github.com/OctopusDeploy/Issues/issues/2436
The only work around currently is to remove any teams or environments from the user you wish to view these accounts on.
Sorry for the troubles.
Regards,
Daniel
Thank you very much. We found that if we know the name, we can put it directly on the URL and then at least we can modify the accounts. Will follow up that issue. Cheers.
Hi Jorge,
Sorry for the troubles, hopefully we will have a fix out soon.
Thanks,
Daniel
