Tentacle Registration via API

Hello,
Just wanted to clarify outcome of a scenario.

If there is OD service account created in OD which role is to only allow tentacle registration via API key for automated tentacle installs and API key is deleted and account removed; does that break any communication already established between installed tentacles or just prevents new installations?

Also, I wanted to verify that permissions needed for registration are:
MachineCreate
MachineEdit
MachineView
EnvironmentEdit

It should only prevent new installations.

Also, I wanted to verify that permissions needed for registration are:
MachineCreate
MachineEdit
MachineView
EnvironmentEdit

Those should be enough.
