Sticky headers on the Dashboard

Sticky environment headers would be super handy…

When you start to deal with a large list of projects, which are deployed to a well established pipeline; It would be quite intuitive to have sticky environment headers for when you are scrolling; this prevents misunderstanding what versions of your project are in which environment.

I’ve taken Ian Paullin’s sample image from his blog: http://ianpaullin.com/2014/12/19/thoughts-on-octopus-deploy-2-6/

Hi Gary,

Thanks for getting in touch! The image you have linked is from Octopus version 2.6, since then we have done a lot of work on the dashboard UI.
What version of Octopus are you currently using?

Looking forward to hearing from you.

Regards,
Daniel

2.6.2

Is there a sticker header in a later version?

Hi Gary,

Thanks for getting back! While our current version of Octopus has had a lot of UI improvements, we do not specifically have sticky headers for the dashboards. Unfortunately, we do not use blog posts as feature requests, this will need to go through UserVoice and see what kind of community support we have behind them before they are implemented.

Here is a link to our UserVoice page were you can create a new suggestion. https://octopusdeploy.uservoice.com/

Let me know if you have any further questions or run into any issues.

Best regards,
Daniel
