Running Tentacles on Managed Service Accounts

Hi, we’ve been using Octopus for quite a while now. Most of our Tentacles have been set up to run on domain service accounts. Recently due to some business requirements, we need to set up some Tentacles on managed service accounts.

Is it OK to install Tentacles on managed service accounts? Can you see any problems or limitations?



Thanks for reaching out. I don’t see any problems with this. Managed service accounts are usually used to authenticate when using services, and that’s exactly what the tentacle is.
