Retention policy not being applied

I just upgrading to 1.2 with retention policies.

I created a new retention policy and after running “Apply Retention Policies” many times, it still refuses to apply my new retention policy. It only applies “Keep everything, forever”

Is there a trick to getting it to recognize my new retention policy?

In your project group (on the Projects page), have you selected the retention policy to apply?

I looked through the blog post and documentation and didnt realize I had to hook up the retention policy to environments like that.
