Release Notes Don't Retain Formatting

I’ve developed an PowerShell script that inserts our TFS work items that were included in the packages into the release notes. I’ve noticed that no matter how I format the output of this the notes on the release details screen are displayed on a s single line, which makes it really hard to read. I’ve attached an image that will probably do a better job of explaining the issue I’m experiencing. Please let me know if there is something that could be done to correct this.
