Project Group Permissions

Hi

On this page here http://docs.octopusdeploy.com/display/OD/Project+Groups is says a project group “Allows the restriction of permissions to users for the grouped projects” but when I create a new team, I am only given the list of projects.

Is the above no longer correct, or am I doing something wrong?

I am on 3.2.21 (roll on 3.3 general release…!)

Hi Gavin,

Thanks for getting in touch. Our documentation has lied to you, I have updated it. You cannot restrict permissions by project group, only by project and sadly I do not know of any plans to implement project group permissions.

3.3.0 is coming soon, I hope you enjoy it.

Hi,
Now 3.3 has been around for a little while is there any plan to add permissions by project group or at least a multi shift+click select for the permissions? I find manually adding each project individually rather frustrating.

Hi Dave,

Adding project permissions one-by-one is tedious and we would like to give it some love but have no firm plans yet.
