Possible to change where NuGet-temp is created?

We use TFS where I work and I’m hitting the “The fully qualified file name must be less than 260 characters, and the directory name must be less than 248 characters” error when octopack tries to build the nuget package on the server.

I was wondering if there was a way I could tell octopack where to create its NuGet-temp directory? Or should I be trying to solve this from another angle?

Thanks in advance,

Hi Graham,

You can override the OctopusTemporaryDirectory MSBuild variable - from a command line like this:

MSBuild.exe ... /p:OctopusTemporaryDirectory=C:\OctopackTemp

Hope that helps,

That’s done the trick. Thanks Paul!
