After installing 3.0 and importing our old backup, user other than the admin user that installed 3.0 are missing permissions to deploy releases, view environments in the dashboard etc. As far as I can tell, the teams/roles are the same as before and look ok.

I don’t know if it is relevant, but we switched to Windows logon during the upgrade - in 2.6, we were using username/pwd.

Yup, that was it. When using Windows login, new users were created, and we were not logged in as the old ones.

Thanks for getting in touch. That is correct, the reason was that Octopus needed to create new users for the Windows Login.
