Github Packages Docker Repo

Has anyone had any joy adding Github Packages docker repos as an external feed?

I’m getting the following message:
Feed endpoint '' does not appear to expose a valid Docker API. The url was tested against the v1 ( and v2 ( endpoints and both failed. Please check the uri and the feed provider, and try again. Read for more details.

Following it suggests that the check is for the header Docker-Distribution-Api-Version: registry/2.0
to be present on the endpoint which I have manually verified that it does. I have tried both with and without username & personal access token.

Any ideas?

Hi Thomas,

First of all, welcome to the Octopus Forums!

Thanks for reaching out. Unfortunately, we don’t fully support GitHub Packages at this time. You will need to use an alternate repository.

I will pass this ticket along to our product team to notify them of interest in integrating it within Octopus.

I’m sorry I don’t have better news for you, but please feel free to reach out with any other questions or concerns.
