Environment not appearing in dropdown when creating release

I need to split my production environment into two environments and deploy them separately. I created two environments, Production1 and Production2, and have two machines in each environment. the machines are all associated to the same “production” role.

In my project, I have a step which is set to deploy to the “production” role.

After I create a release, when I go to deploy it, I do not see both Production1 and Production2 in the dropdown. I only see Production1.

I found it - It’s in the settings for the project group.

The documentation really needs some work. Between this and the API I have wasted DAYS on things which should be in the documentation.
