Hi, A co-worker has left my company, therefore I have to remove their Octopus account. He has over 25 API Keys in use.
If I delete their account will the API Keys still work?
Is there a way I can re-assign these to another user or do I have to create new API Keys as a new user for them all?
Thanks for getting in touch! Unfortunately API keys given to users who have been deleted/deactivated won’t work anymore, nor is there any way to transfer API keys from one user to another. Usually we’d recommend setting up a service account, giving it the correct permissions and creating new API keys for that account.
This may or may not be helpful, but you can change the password of the account in your web portal under Configuration > Users > [User].
