Hi,
I am using an Azure VM as my build server. I have downloaded and installed TeamCity on Port 80 and Octopus Deploy on port 81. I can access the web portal using: http://localhost:81 , but not by using http:[server name]:81.
I have added an extra binding, but still no luck.
Do I need IIS installed?
I know I missing something!
Thanks in advance,
Karl

Sorry about the typo, I missed out the forward slashes!
The url for the external access is http://[server name]:81

Hi Karl,
Thanks for getting in touch. You don’t need IIS installed for Octopus. Have you set the endpoints of your Azure VM?

Hi Dalmiro,
I found it! I had clicked on the Floating IP slider in the Azure configuration.
Thanks for your help.
Karl
Hi,
Yes I have and I have also added a firewall rule too.
TeamCity works and I set up the same rules for that.

Karl

Hi Karl,
So it is working now? The double-message confused me
Dalmiro
Hi,
Sorry, Don;t know how that happened. I sent 2 messages.
Yes, it is working now that I corrected the end point settings.
Thanks,
Karl
