Any risk of outage when updating license?

We received a new license key and are ready to apply it but want to know if there is any risk of service interruption due to invalid license, or other issues? Does the service need to restart after applying the new license?

You can safely update your license key without any service interruptions to your Octopus instance, a service restart is not required. Due to client side caching it may take a while for the UI to update to reflect the new key, however it won’t prevent usage of the product at all.
